Meet Nan

Hi, I'm Nan. I've been running a household, raising kids and grandkids, training dogs, and cooking for a crowd for most of my life. After all these years, I've learned what works and what doesn't. In the kitchen, with dogs, with grandchildren, and around the house.

A few years ago, my daughter suggested I start writing it all down. "Nan," she said, "you have an opinion on everything, and it's always right." So here we are.

Everything I share on this site is something I've personally tried and tested. If it made it onto the blog, it passed the test. That's the whole point of the name. If Nan approves it, you can trust it.

I write about four things I know well: recipes, dog care, grandparenting, and home and lifestyle.
